Manpower Croatia for Fortuna Digital, a part of Antalis Group, a worldwide leader in Papers, Packaging and Visual Communication distribution, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill in the position of Group Credit & Controlling Manager (m/f). The role supports a regional group of locally operating companies across Central and South Eastern Europe, all wholly owned by a global international group. Working closely with local Managing Directors, Sales and Finance teams, you will help improve cash collection, monitor customer credit risk and support healthy working capital across the Group.Place of work: Zagreb
Description
- Manage the Group Accounts Receivable and credit control process across all companies
- Monitor customer aging, overdue balances and collection performance
- Coordinate regular reviews of overdue receivables with local Sales and Finance teams
- Support the collection process and follow up on agreed action plans
- Assess the financial position of new and existing customers
- Review and recommend customer credit limits and payment terms
- Manage the Group's credit insurance process, including insurance limits and customer exposure
- Monitor customer risk and escalate potential issues where appropriate
- Prepare regular reports and KPIs on receivables, overdue debt and working capital
- Help develop and improve Group credit policies and processes
- Build good working relationships with colleagues across Finance and Sales in all countries
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Credit Management, Accounts Receivable or a similar role
- Good understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English and Croatian, as both languages are used daily in communication across the Group
- Good knowledge of Excel and experience working with ERP systems
