Short Description

Manpower Croatia for Box Now, a well-known hybrid logistics and technology company offering smart parcel delivery solutions, is looking for ideal candidate to fill in the position of Director of Operations (m/f).

Description

Own day-to-day operational performance and the continuous improvement of the country's logistics network
Evaluate, prioritise, and implement sorting-automation solutions, balancing operational impact, cost, and scalability
Design, standardise, and optimise end-to-end warehouse and sortation processes
Redesign first- and last-mile processes to improve service levels, productivity, and cost
Own the operational KPI framework — find bottlenecks, get to root cause, and drive corrective action
Lead operational managers and teams, building accountability, ownership, and a continuous-improvement culture
Partner with technology, product, and commercial teams to roll out new tools and process improvements
Spend significant time in the field and in operations, turning first-hand insight into practical fixes
Ensure operational readiness for volume growth and network expansion

Requirements

At least 8 years of work experience in logistics, supply-chain or last-mile operations, including at least 2 years in senior leadership roles
Higher education degree, preferably in Economics and Business or other social sciences
Proven track record of leading large operational teams across multiple sites
Hands-on experience with warehouse / sortation automation projects — selection, rollout and optimisation
Strong data and analytical skills; comfortable owning a KPI framework and using it to drive decisions
Demonstrated process-redesign and continuous-improvement results
Budget and/or P&L ownership experience
Advanced English knowledge (C1 level)
