On behalf of our client Animalab, a well-established company operating in the biotechnology and Life Science industry, we are looking for an Area Sales Representative to join their team in Zagreb, Croatia.Founded in 2004, Animalab provides specialized products and services to universities, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology organizations. Working with leading suppliers in the Life Science industry, the company supports scientific research and laboratory operations across Central and Eastern Europe, with branches in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and the Baltic States.As an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Animalab's portfolio of products and services within your assigned territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional who is interested in combining sales, relationship management, and scientific innovation.
Description
- You will develop sales of Animalab products in Croatia and Slovenia
- You will be building up and maintaining long-term relationships with academic and biotech companies
- You will work remotely If you are not traveling.
- 4 days per week in the assigned territory (visiting clients; making presentations; finding solutions; providing support/ consulting and performing commercial negotiations)
Requirements
- Degree in (biological, chemical, medical, veterinary or related field)
- Fluent in Croatian and have a very good knowledge of English
- Valid driving license (category B)
- At least 3 years sales experience (ideally in the commercial/ sales of life science products/ technical work environment)
- You are client and sales-oriented, like to achieve targets, face new challenges and being on the move
- Independence in taking decisions and high organization skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with CRM system
