On beljhalf of our client, an international company operating in a dynamic infrastructure-driven industry is seeking a Group Controller to join its Group Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to strategic decision-making, financial planning, investment evaluation, and performance management across multiple countries.The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment, collaborating with finance and business stakeholders across the Group while supporting senior management through high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
Description
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate Group financial plans, budgets, and forecasts across multiple entities and countries
- Review and challenge local financial plans to ensure consistency and alignment with Group objectives
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and shareholder reporting packages
- Perform Group-level financial and business performance analyses
- Coordinate pre-investment and post-investment evaluation processes
- Support business case development, KPI tracking, and financial target setting
- Identify risks, opportunities, and potential margin improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of FP&A tools, reporting systems, and databases
- Develop and maintain reporting standards and controlling frameworks across the Group
- Support investment governance processes and strategic decision-making
- Ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance with Group standards
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams on various finance and business initiatives
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Audit, or a similar finance function
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Knowledge of IFRS and Group consolidation principles
- Experience working in international and multi-entity environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Experience with FP&A, reporting, or consolidation tools (experience with Farseer is considered an advantage)
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team
