Short Description
Manpower Croatia for Client, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill in the position of Accountant (m/f).
Description
- Posting to the general ledger
- Reconciliation of customers, suppliers, and, when necessary, related companies
- Posting of purchase and sales invoices (URAs + IRAs – general part)
- Supplier payments and monitoring of receivables collection
- Month-end closing (regular postings, lease postings)
- Preparation of annual financial statements (independently or participation in their preparation)
- Posting bank statements
- VAT calculation, VAT-S, ZP, OPZ-STAT-1 reports
- Preparation of internal reports as instructed by the client
- Managing depreciation and controlling the accuracy of depreciation calculations
- Participation in audits
- Monitoring laws and bylaws in the fields of accounting, taxation, and finance
- Other accounting and financial tasks as assigned by superiors
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting / Finance
- Strong Analytical Skills and a proven track record in Finance
- Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Fluent in English and Croatian (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools
