Manpower Croatia for Client, one of the world's largest consumer goods companies, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill in the position of HR Specialist.We are looking for a proactive and highly organized HR Specialist to support the smooth delivery of HR operations, compliance, employee engagement initiatives, and site-wide events.Location: Zagreb (Buzin) - hybridDuration: Temporary (to cover maternity leave), (maximum 2 years)

Description

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Process employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
• Be the face of the company towards local employees and provide first-line support to line managers and employees in the HR processes
• Process payroll-related updates by ensuring data accuracy in time & attendance systems, managing employee changes impacting pay
• Manage a wide range of employee benefits while ensuring compliance with labor and tax law, as well as internal policies
• Plan and deliver high-quality internal events and initiatives connected to employee wellbeing
• Plan and deliver activities related to talent attraction
• Lead the creation and distribution of employee communications, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with site culture and business updates
• Actively contribute to the planning and execution of community engagement initiatives, including volunteering and sustainability activities

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's in communications, economics or any related field
• Min. 2-3 years of similar experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge and experience in Croatian labor law
• Clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
