Short Description
Due to the growth of our internal operations, we are looking for a motivated and reliable professional to join our regional team in the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) – SEE Region (m/f).
Description
- Ensure implementation and ongoing compliance with GDPR across SEE region (EU & non-EU countries)
- Advise management and employees on data protection obligations and best practices
- Support data protection impact assessments (DPIA) and incident management procedures
- Monitor local privacy legislation and align with global privacy and compliance frameworks
- Coordinate implementation and maintenance of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001)
- Prepare and support internal teams for certification and surveillance audits
- Organize and deliver internal trainings on GDPR and ISO standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and regularly report on compliance activities
- Act as the primary point of contact for GDPR and ISO compliance within the region
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, Quality Management or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or ISO implementation
- Solid knowledge of GDPR and ISO 9001 (knowledge of other ISO standards is an asset)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools
- Excellent command of English (C1 level)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive mindset
