Short Description

Manpower Croatia, on behalf of the Client, a company in the field of electroenergetics, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill in the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Description

• Lead and manage the company's finance, accounting, and controlling functions
• Oversee and support a finance team
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and liquidity monitoring
• Supervise controlling activities, including cost tracking, profitability analysis, and performance reporting
• Oversee accounting activities across the company's European subsidiaries
• Monitor and review accounting transactions in foreign entities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Coordinate and communicate with external accounting firms and service providers in international markets
• Maintain communication with banks, insurance companies, and other relevant financial institutions
• Support financing, guarantees, insurance, and other banking-related processes as needed
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Maintain and improve internal controls, financial procedures, and reporting systems

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a CFO role or a comparable senior finance leadership position
• Strong background in finance, accounting, and controlling
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
• Experience in overseeing accounting processes across multiple entities or international operations
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and operationally focused approach
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage
• Previous experience in the energy or construction sector is strongly preferred
