Manpower Croatia for CC Real, a leader in commercial real estate and projects management, managing City Center One shopping centers (in Zagreb and Split) and the largest shopping center in Istria, is looking for an ideal candidate to fill in the position of Senior Accountant (m/f).
Place of work: Zagreb
Job description:
- Verification and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices according to applicable regulations and the requirements of the Company and its affiliated entities
- Posting and calculation of costs and revenues
- Maintaining the fixed assets register, conducting year-end asset inventory, and posting depreciation
- Posting all changes that affect the true representation of the Company and its affiliated entities, such as exchange rate differences, adjustments, and similar
- Compliance with statutory deadlines for the preparation and submission of forms for reporting to government authorities, such as VAT returns, all according to predetermined deadlines
- Contact with government authorities (e.g., FINA, Tax Administration, etc.) and banks to ensure business continuity in case of changes in legal regulations or business adjustments
- Preparation of general ledgers for reporting, period closing according to predefined deadlines, and assistance during the annual business settlement
- Communication with leasing companies
- Working on new projects as instructed by the Company/superior
- Supporting the Chief Accountant in all tasks for which they are responsible, and substituting for the Chief Accountant in their absence
Requirements:
- High school degree, preferably university degree
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar accounting positions
- Advanced MS Office knowledge, especially MS Excel
- English knowledge
